These rebates apply to homes, ag buildings or commercial facilities that are either new construction or which are converting from gas or oil to electric. These rebates also apply to the replacement of existing electric heating/cooling equipment with new electric equipment. All rebates will be paid directly to the Woodbury County REC member. Rebates that are or add up to $200 will be applied to the monthly energy bill. Rebates that are or add up to more than $200 will be paid by check. Rebates will be paid on a per unit basis not on the size (tons) of the equipment. No rebates will be paid on used equipment. To receive a rebate, a valid purchase receipt and proof of the "Energy Star" specifications must be submitted to the REC.
